Class Descriptions

Here’s a look at our current classes, please check our current class schedules as we periodically change up our offerings.

BallerinaBootcamp 5/1 – Experience the collaborative effect of a classically trained ballerina and former Naval Officer (Sarah G.) and fitness guru, Maddog, to ignite your passion for movement.  Equal parts cardio and strength, beautifully paired to create circuits of juxtaposition – a powerful combination of grace and grit. This barefoot, non-heated barre workout requires a yoga mat, water, and your inner ballerina badass.

30/30 – A cardio/strength class offering 30 minutes of cardio including but not limited to RealRyder, Rowers and body weight moves and 30 minutes of strength training.

30Ryde/30TRX – An exciting combination of cardio and strength that provides the fast torch of calories burned that RealRyder is famous for and the long burn of stored fat that TRX brings. 60 minutes – All levels!

FireBarre 5/1 – FireBarre 5/1 is a unique, high energy / low impact class that combines classic Barre theories with Maddog’s 5 components of fitness; cardio, core, balance, upper body and lower body.  The Fire Studio is heated to 85 degrees for this workout which  creates the perfect environment for  elevating heart rate without impact all the while torching fat.  Please bring a sweat towel and water.  We recommend that you be well hydrated prior to class.  Get sweaty, get strong!

HeartRate Ryde to Core – Designed by engineers to replicate a true outdoor Ryde, this next generation spin bike articulates right and left, burning 20% more calories than a traditional indoor bike.  Exclusive to Maddog 5/1, RealRyder cannot be found anywhere else in this market.  Stuck in a rut?  Still on a stationary bike?  Get Real and take a Ryde that will change your workout completely.   We recommend using a heart rate monitor to experience a new twist to your workout.  15 minutes of core work will complete this fantastic workout!

Hot Power – A heated 100-degree room sets the stage, this class focuses on flowing movement and breath awareness, building flexibility, strength and balance. Combining alignment and deep focus, this physically challenging practice will cleanse the body and calm the mind while detoxing, opening stubborn joints and relaxing tight muscles.

Joy Ryde – Remember being a kid, a whole Saturday with nothin’ but time, so you took off on your bike for pure joy! Let’s re-live that feeling – no rules, no boundaries – just ryde for joy!

Kick Start – It’s Monday morning, hard to believe that alarm just went off . . . This is exactly what you need to get the week started right!  Cardio on the fabulous RealRyder bike, strength in sets, core involvement.  The workout changes every 30 days to show measurable results.  Get there – Monday!

Love Sunday Yoga – Take it slow and give your soul a chance to catch up with your body. Your breath, your pace, your body; we simply guide you. This is a heated class. Come well hydrated and enjoy the Maddog 5/1 yoga life on your mat.

Max Burn 5/1 – Stuck on a plateau? It’s time to punch up the intensity with challenging moves that combine structural and compound exercises – little rest in between sets that will maximize calorie burn and increase metabolic rate during and aftr the workout. This is the plateau buster for you!

TabataRyde 45 – Tabata intervals pair wickedly well with the RealRyder experience to create a fun-filled action-packed ryde. Torch calories and pump up the volume on buff! All levels welcome – your pace is your ryde!

Team 5/1 – The tried and true, results proven Boot Camp is a workout that will put the hurt on people bored with classic group fitness! A combination of cardio and weights, orchestrated with the five major components that title Maddog 5/1, cardio, core, balance, upper and lower body. Camaraderie of a team, competition within yourself, inspiring instructors! Get Team 5/1 for big change!

Team 5/1 Tabata Shred – a HIIT ( high intensity interval training) experience that combines classic intervals of 20 seconds on – 10 seconds off, with the Maddog style of back to basics – tried and true moves, this workout takes you to a differnt level of awesome! Athletes with a strong aerobic base will enjoy this workout.

TeamRX 5/1 – Fusing TRX with Maddog’s trademark workout – sculpts muscles, burns fat, and torches calories. Everyone is capable of success in this unique combo!

TRX/KB Bootcamp – A cross training experience that pushes the limits of strength and cardio using TRX, Kettlebells, and IndoRowers as the tools ~ CAN DO is the attitude!

XT 5/1 – Our classic Team 5/1 Bootcamp amped up to challenge each athlete to go to the “next level” in their fitness performance. Heart Rate Monitors highly recommended. Experience in Team 5/1 recommended.

Yoga Ripped – A Maddog 5/1 original combination of light dumbbells, yoga flow, cardio, core work, and heat create the flame that torches stored fat and stubborn metabolism . . . Got fat – Get Ripped!

Square I – Our Newest Jump Start Program~ 8 week beginner program ~ 2 ~ 45 minute sessions a week!

Including Cardio, Core, Upper Body, Lower Body, and Balance.
